Guided Surgery Dental Implant Surgery

Transforming the way dentists perform implant dentistry treatments

What is Guisurg? Just three clicks: Send, Download and print files.

A platform aimed at professionals, to carry out your dental implant guided surgery planning and the necessary surgical splinting.

Guisurg is a service for Dentists who perform implant treatments.

We design your Guided Surgery planning and splint.

You only have to upload the files of the 3D maxillary study of your patient in Dicom format and the scanned maxilla in STL format, ( Read more... ) and in one week you will receive the study and the proposal made by the experts of Guisurg.

Once you confirm your acceptance and make the payment, in less than six days you will receive directly at your clinic the 3D printed splint, ready for use, to which you will only have to add the metal rings (if your implant system requires them).

What do I need?

You must be a Dentist who performs implant treatments and have the Guided Surgery Kit for your implant system.

Almost all implant manufacturers have this kit.

After registering, once in your Guisurg area, check that your implant system (Brand and Model) is compatible with the different software used in this platform.

Send us the Dicom and STL files.

Soon you will receive the proposal, through an email notification, which you must review and accept, or return if it is not to your liking.

What files should I send to Guisurg?

If there are more than three teeth (with crowns) in the maxilla of your guided surgery case, you only have to send us the 3D study in Dicom format, and the scanned models of the maxilla in STL format.

What are Dicom files?

Dicom is the standard for medical image archiving.

Whether you have in your clinic the installation of 3D radiographs, as if you request the study to an external radiologist, you will have a DVD disk, a USB flash drive or in your own computer network, these files of the patient to whom you are going to perform guided surgery.

Normally the software you use to visualize the 3D has the option to "Export DIcom".

Consult the "Help" section of your software, or ask your distributor how to export scans to Dicom.

What is an STL file?

A file with suffix ".STL" (STereoLithography) is the most commonly used file type for storing three-dimensional (3D) objects.

All intraoral or desktop scanners for dental models, use this digital file format.

It is the format you should use to send us the scan of the jaws of your cases to plan and design the Guided Surgery splint.
